“Crisp air, pretty leaves, sweaters & boots, football, pumpkins and coffee. I love fall!”
On a fall day that still felt like summer, I met Zoe, Justin and Haiven at Perry Farm in Bradley.
Little did we know, there was a concert going on that evening as well. To say it was crowded was an understatement. Nevertheless, we still managed to have a great session.
When working with young children, patience is key. If they don’t want to do something, they won’t. Sometimes, you need to follow them and see where it is they want to go. With Haiven, we walked to see the many scarecrows on display. We picked some flowers and moved pumpkins and gourds around. By doing so, and by having some candy on hand, we were able to get some smiles!
