“The most important time is family time.”
Every year, I attend this large 4th of July picnic with some of my family, family friends and old neighbors. There is always a ton of great food. They do a hayrack ride in the afternoon. Baseball, volleyball and bags games go on all day. It really is a good time and something I look forward to each year.
Last year, I pulled my brother’s three kids aside for some photos. This year, he reached out to me and asked if I could do some of his whole family.
My husband can work some crazy hours, so slept that day until early afternoon. We were a little later than usual arriving to the party. As soon as we finished eating, we all hopped on the hayrack ride. Now, it wasn’t a super hot day compared to some, but when the tractor turned to pull the hayrack between two fields, we felt the heat! We were all sweating when we returned, but they all pulled through for some great photos.
